A ‘homophobic’ reality star just outed his bisexual co-star on live TV – but she owned it in the best way

Reality star Jax Taylor, who once reasoned he can’t be homophobic as half his pals are gay, outed a co-star as bisexual live on television.

During a stint on Watch What Happens Live!, the Vanderpump Rules star outed co-star Ariana Madix as bisexual, prompting a rushed backtrack and apology.

While being outed live on TV is a doomsday scenarios for some LGBT+ folk, Madix has since clapped back at Taylor and owned her sexuality in a way that we have no choice but to stan, E! News reported.

Jax Taylor outed bisexual co-star on live TV.

During a phone-in slot on the show, a caller asked Taylor about Madix and her boyfriend Tom Sandoval’s relationship. Seemingly backed in a corner, he suggested that Madix was reluctant to settle down as he mumbled: “Ariana likes women.”

In a very on-brand move for the TV personality, he stammered and tried to fall back on his words as Taylor’s wife, Brittany Cartwight sitting beside him, blurted: “Don’y say that! Don’t say that!”

As the cameras continued to roll, Taylor said, “Sorry, I didn’t mean that. I’m sorry.”

Host Andy Cohen then jumped and asked: “You think Ariana likes women?

“What do you mean you didn’t mean it? You just said it.”

Cartwight attempted to do damage control by adding: “She likes everyone, just like most of us do.”

Taylor then quipped: “Just own it. That’s fine, just don’t lie about it.”

May the record show that even, yes, even reality TV stars deserve privacy.

After the show aired, Madix set the record straight by, well, announcing she is in no way straight.

“I do like women,” she tweeted, “and men. It’s called being bisexual.

“Ever heard of it? #ThisIsntHard”

The Michelle Tanner from Full House waving her hand gif said: Bi rights!

Fans for the Bravo show first saw Madix’s sexuality implied when Sandoval divulged that his wife had a sexual encounter with a woman before.

Reality star once used most eye-rolling inducing justification for homophobia.

Last year, Taylor was plunged into controversy where he tossed a homophobic comment to a Twitter a user during a heated exchange.

“[You’re] the type of guy who is in [a] frat and claims he loves women, but secretly is bending over his roommate ‘Chad’ while wearing boat shoes,” the 40-year-old tweeted against his critic.

“20 bucks says I hit the nail on the head with this loser.”

As users slammed the star, he claimed he simply cannot be homophobic because he once worked at a gay bar and that “50 per cent” of his pals are gay.
