Fox News host questions whether Pete Buttigieg is really gay because he ‘doesn’t have the look’

A right-wing author and sometimes Fox News host has questioned whether Pete Buttigieg is actually gay, whether Elizabeth Warren is really a woman and said that Andrew Yang “doesn’t count” as a person of colour.
The comments were made by Mark Steyn, a regular guest and guest host of Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Tonight. Carlson claimed last month that caring about equality for transgender people is an issue for “rich people”.
Steyn filled in for Rush Limbaugh, who said in 2017 that he was not happy that “gay black film” Moonlight won Best Picture at the Oscars, on his namesake radio show on Monday, January 13.
On the show he said that there was no diversity among Democratic presidential candidates now that Cory Booker had stepped down.
According to LGBTQ Nation, Steyn said: “Cory Booker has suspended his presidential campaign. So he’s gone. There are now no — I believe there are now no people of colour left in the Democrat primary except Andrew Yang.
“And he’s Asian — so as we know from recent court decisions, that doesn’t count.”

Mark Steyn said Pete Buttigieg has a “non-gay look”.
He then continued: “The great repository of diversity now is Elizabeth Warren! The first woman of colour. We know she’s, what is she, 1/1,054th of colour? Actually, do we know she’s a woman? I mean, who’s to say that’s not all a big scam, too?
“And it’s just going to be a bunch of septuagenarian white guys up there, along with Mayor Pete. Do we, are we really sure he’s gay? I mean, he looks like some guy from the accountancy department. He doesn’t — that’s a very non-gay look.
“Anyway, the whole thing is the diversity of the Democrat primary has completely vanished now.”
Steyn also regularly mocks LGBT+ rights on his blog Steyn Online, and last year he said that black people should “move on” from slavery.
