Lil Nas X says ‘Black gay vampire rights’ in Thriller-inspired Rodeo video
Lil Nas X took the gay cowboy agenda to the underworld with his new vampire-themed video for “Rodeo”.
The rapper teamed up with his namesake Nas for the video, which he had earlier teased as a mash-up of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”, Wesley Snipes’ Blade, Buffy The Vampire Slayer and The Matrix.
Sure enough, the three-minute clip sees Lil Nas X transform into a vampire after being bitten under moonlight, before dodging bullets in slow-motion and tiny sunglasses.
Fans were quick to hail a new era of ‘gay vampire fashion’ and the advent of ‘Black gay vampire rights’.
i can’t believe lil nas x set a new standard for gay vampire fashion

One follower, actor BJ Colangelo, pointed out that the ‘Rodeo’ video owed a debt to the iconic Disney Channel original, Don’t Look Under the Bed.
Tired: “@LilNasX in ‘Rodeo’ is giving Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ vibes.”
Wired: “Nah, it’s VAMPIRE IN BROOKLYN or BLADE.”

After ‘Rodeo’ was unleashed, a number of pearl-clutches accused Lil Nas X of selling his soul to the devil, pointing to the video’s ‘satanic’ imagery.
His response?
