Lady Gaga just confirmed the title and release date of her anticipated new album

Lady Gaga Stupid Love

Lady Gaga has confirmed fan theories that the title of her highly anticipated new album will be Chromatica,Ā and it’ll be out on April 10.

Until now the album had been tentatively titled LG6, but eagle-eyed fans spied the word in tiny letters on a promotional poster which Gaga used as her Twitter banner.

The album follows 2016ā€™s Joanne and will feature 16 tracks, including her new single “Stupid Love,” which fans have already gone gaga for.

The album artwork remains under wraps, but the star has kindly tweeted a teaser image to keep Little Monsters occupied in the meantime.

It’s not clear what the image means, but PinkNews‘ resident Gaga-ologist has speculated that it could be one of several medallion-like symbols, one for each track on the album.

Or perhaps the mystery image could be based on the mathematical symbol for sound, which Gaga recently touched on in an interview with Zane Lowe.

Discussing the albumā€™s concept, she said: “The symbol for ChromaticaĀ has a signwave in it, which is the mathematical symbol for sound, and itā€™s from what all sound is made from, and, for me, sound is what healed me in my life period, and it healed me again making this record, and that is really whatĀ ChromaticaĀ is all about.

“Itā€™s about healing and itā€™s about bravery as well and itā€™s really like, when we talk about love I think itā€™s so important to include the fact that it requires a ton of bravery to love someone.”

She continued: “[Chromatica] seems to be about colours and all the different colours and also music is made of a chromatic scale, you know? So itā€™s all the colours, all the sounds, you know, so weā€™re talking about inclusivity and life and also a lot of what we see around us and what weā€™re experiencing is math, which is very much like music and and sound is math as well.”

The mystery continues.
