Phillip Schofield is truly all of us as he gets hysterical during quarantine vagina wax chat
With a sturdy six feet separating them both, Phillip Schofield began to mime waxing This Morning co-host Holly Willoughby’s vagina.
Yes, really.
As studios suspend filming of many television shows, schedulers have been left with TV guides dotted with gaps.
But ITV has pressed on with delivering the daytime talk-show that is the only antidote to the dull world of working from home.
Phillip Schofield left in tears after mimicking shaving Holly Willoughby’s vagina and we have all cracked under lockdown, clearly.
On Thursday’s episode, Willoughby was left in tears during the show’s beauty segment. Sunday Times Style beauty director Sarah Jossel was invited to show viewers how to self-groom during the coronavirus pandemic.
Jossel was asked onto the show after Willoughby spoke about her own do-it-yourself waxing attempt didn’t quite go to plan on Tuesday.
Jossel provided some helpful tips in waxing in her Home Beauty Salon slot, yet the cameras were forced to swerve to Schofield and Willoughby who were cackling away on the sofa.
Sarah was explaining how people should wax in small sections.
She said: “People think it’s quicker if it’s massive sections, but if you actually cut it into much smaller ones and you do it really quickly, it’s the way forward.”
“What did I do? What did I say?” a panicked Joeseel asked. “What’s happened?”
Schofield responded, red-faced: “I was just talking about the size of the section you’re doing, I just looked across at Holly and went…”
The 58-year-old then made a wooshing sound and mimed tearing a waxing strip from his thighs.
Queue Willoughby essentially imploding into a singularity of laughter, clutching her stomach and struggling to breathe.
Earlier this year – which honestly feels like decades ago – Schofield stunned viewers when he came out as gay.
