Ezra Miller is not under investigation after shocking video showing them grab a fan by the throat, police say
After footage of the actor appearing to choke a fan before pushing her to the floor stunned the world, Ezra Miller will not be investigated by police, Icelandic police have said.
In a video uploaded Sunday night, it showed the actor grabbing the neck of a fan with both hands, prompting blistering reaction online.
According to the original poster – who has since deleted the video on Twitter – the woman “jokingly challenged” Miller to a fight, who, some witnesses claim, had been drinking at the bar in Reykjavík, Iceland.

Ezra Miller was ‘not arrested’, police say.
Reykjavik Metropolitan Police confirmed to TheWrap that law enforcement was never called to the alleged altercation and no injuries reported to police.
Spokesperson Gunnar Rúnar Sveinbjörnsson said: “No one was arrested or placed in custody regarding this.”
Miller’s representatives did not respond to a request for comment from the publication at the time of writing.
So, what did happen?
At the Prikið Kaffihús, a watering hole in the city centre, fans approached Miller at around 6pm on April 1.
“Did you wanna fight?” Miller says, walking towards the woman, who is moving her hands in the air, the mobile phone footage shows.
Miller then grabs her neck with both hands.
Initially seen smiling, the woman gasps as Miller pushes her towards the ground.
“Woah! Bro, bro, bro, bro, bro!” a panicked voice off-camera says.
The actor is then seen briefly holding the woman near the ground with their hands on her neck, before the footage goes jumpy and cuts out.
The poster, whose claims are unverified, stated that Miller was pulled away from the fan.
As the clip radiated across Twitter, it has apparently thrown Miller’s involvement in the upcoming The Flash film into jeopardy, with executives wary that the ongoing scandal may dent or overshadow the film’s development.
