How is Lady Gaga raising money with her One World: Together At Home concert?
One World isn’t a fundraiser in the traditional sense: it will raise money for health care workers through corporate contributions only.
“We have raised the money ahead of time and we’re going to continue fundraising before the show,” Gaga told Stephen Colbert.
“So when you guys introduce the whole special, you can tell everyone to put your wallets away, put your money away because we don’t need it — we raised the money already!”
Already Gaga and Global Citizen have raised $35 million for the World Health Organisation, which will be used to fund protective equipment for healthcare workers.
