Sarah Paulson has the classiest response to fans comparing her with Adele
Twitter is convinced that American Horror Story actor Sarah Paulson and Adele are actually long lost twins, and honestly, it’s hard to disagree.
The pair seem to share an uncanny resemblance, with many people sharing photos of them side-by-side to show just how similar they are.
The comparisons have become so prevalent that Paulson herself is aware of them – and she had the classiest response when asked about it.
The lesbian actress addressed comparisons between herself and Adele in an interview with Sirius XM on May 13.
Sarah Paulson is happy to be compared to Adele, calling the singer ‘a beauty’.
“I was on Twitter and I just happened to be scrolling through and it said Sarah Paulson is trending,” she said.
“I was like, ‘Wait, what?’ Did I die? What happened?’ And I just was scrolling through and I was like, ‘Oh, it’s the Adele thing again.'”
“I mean, this has been going on for a while, this Adele looks like Sarah Paulson, Sarah Paulson looks like Adele.
Man, she’s a beauty. So, sure. Great. Give it to me. I’ll take it.
She added: “Listen, I’ll take it. I mean, what I wish they were comparing was my talent to her talent and saying that mine was as great as hers, which quite honestly they can’t say because no one’s talent is as great as hers, which is really irritating.
“But I’ll take looking like her. Man, she’s a beauty. So, sure. Great. Give it to me. I’ll take it.”
Most people are absolutely convinced the pair are identical, but not everyone agrees.
Fans have been commenting for some time now that Paulson and Adele share some similarities, but their feelings reached a fever pitch when Adele posted a rare photo on Instagram last week.

But not everyone agreed. Some dissenters are suggesting that the pair are actually just two white women with similar hair – which is probably a fair point.
