This 53 second video of Leslie Jordan dancing to Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s ‘Rain On Me’ is nothing short of a work of art
Leslie Jordan – who must be protected at all costs – danced like the pure soul he is to “Rain On Me”, the new duet by Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande.
Since May 22, the clouds have been darkened with rain by Gaga and Grande, who invented condensed atmospheric water vapour just for their song.
They teamed up for the “Rain On Me”, an upbeat dance track where each singer takes a turn with a verse. They also sing together on some of the choruses.
Anyway, the Will & Grace star, whose often surreal and comical Instagram stories are a welcome distraction from, well, everything that is happening in this horrific world, shimmied around in his home to the tune and it was adorable.
Leslie Jordan is all of us listening to ‘Rain On Me’ for the first time.
The 65-year-old uploaded to Instagram Sunday morning a video of him listening to “Rain On Me” for the first time – a moment of religious significance.
Jordan bopped his head and pursed his lips as the song creeps into its explosive bridge before he explained: “New song!
“Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande – wet and wild.
“‘Rain On Me’, is the name of this one,” Jordan mentioned, in case you weren’t already aware.
Jordan then added that Katy Perry had only just dropped her new track, “Daisies”, a few days earlier before Gaga and Grande released “Rain On Me”, and, appropriately, it was all too much for his fragile, gay soul.
“Three icons – three gaycons – releasing hits within three days of each other. I think I read about this in the Bible, the End of Revelations. think it means it’s the end of the world or something.
Jordan, with the annihilation of all of humanity and the rising of the Antichrist now imminent, begins to dance. If you’re going to dance till the world ends, might as well do it to “Rain On Me”.
We’re unsure, however, whether Lady Gaga will spend her final moments riding Jordan like she once did while filming American Horror Story.
He described on his “Pillow Talk” Instagram series in May that the scene unexpectedly saw Gaga kick, roll him over and then start riding the veteran actor while howling at the moon, Entertainment Weekly reported.
“I just laid there and thought: ‘How do I get myself into these situations?'” he joked.
