LGBT+ champions, queer heroes and tireless activists join PinkNews’ Pride for All, a digital Pride like no other
This year’s Pride Month won’t be the same as previous years due to the coronavirus pandemic, but PinkNews‘ Pride for All will help to bridge that gap.
With Pride events across the world cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, PinkNews has decided to take Pride online with an exciting new digital festival.
Over the course of four days, the LGBT+ community and its allies will be able to come together in celebration and protest wherever they are in the world.
At the centre of Pride for All is a virtual march, which launches tomorrow (June 4) and will run throughout the entire month of June.
LGBT+ people and their allies can join the virtual march on the Pride for All event page from June 4, where they will be prompted to create a “Pride persona”.
Virtual marchers will also have the opportunity to win prizes by spotting historic LGBT+ activists hidden in the digital parade.
PinkNews‘ Pride for All will feature LGBT+ champions and heroes across its four-day run.
PinkNews‘ Pride for All will help raise funds for the Kaleidoscope Trust, a charity which campaigns for the human rights of LGBT+ people in countries where they face persecution or discrimination because of who they are.
The packed digital festival kicks off on June 4 at 10am BST with a live Instagram workout from champion swimmer Michael Gunning.
Other events include The Great Pride for All Bake-Off, where past Great British Bake-Off winner David Atherton and fan-favourite Yan Tsou will whip up a rainbow cake, as well as stunning digital concerts from LGBT+ musicians Saara Aalto, Joe McElderry, Andy Allo and many more.
Pride for All will also see Drag Race UK star Divina De Campo discussing what it means to be trans today with Mermaids (Saturday June 6 at 3pm), and fellow alumnus Sum Ting Won will deliver a virtual quiz like no other (Sunday June 7 at 8.30pm).

The digital extravaganza will also feature important panel discussions on topics such as coming out at work (Thursday June 4 at 12pm) and fighting for LGBT+ rights with activists from the Commonwealth Equality Network and Kaleidoscope Trust (Thursday June 4 at 1pm).
