Hate group claims June is now Lifestyle of Mainstream Normal Ordinary People month and it’s every bit as pathetic as you’d imagine
A homophobic hate group has proclaimed that it is “taking back June”, and has proclaimed the month is now Lifestyle of Mainstream Normal Ordinary People (LMNOP) month.
Public Advocate of the United States, a Southern Poverty Law Center designated hate group, filmed a “demonstration” in front of the White House, although there appeared to be just six people there.
The group is staunchly homophobic, transphobic and anti-abortion, and its leader is former Virginia politician Eugene Delgaudio.
Public Advocate has previously argued that if gay people are protected from discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation, then “adulterers, predators, paedophiles, and the like – could make the same argument that their sex requires that they be protected against discrimination”.
When a nine-year-old asked Pete Buttigieg for advice on coming out during his presidential campaign, the group claimed that Buttigieg led a “homosexual mob in public abuse of nine-year-old boy”.
The ridiculous video features singing, hand-clapping and people awkwardly holding rainbow umbrellas with the letters LMNOP glued on.
Delgaudio incoherently rambles in the video: “We’re launching something special today, just like the space launch.
“You all know that June is claimed to be LGBT+ month, well not anymore!”
Seemingly a bit confused about the name of the campaign, Delgaudio said: “Public Advocate has launched take back the month of June project, where we are launching the LMNOP movement with a make the family great again task force.”
He added: “I want to thank our contributors, our supporters and the president of the United States.
“Today we are launching a new programme, just like the president is seeing SpaceX launch a new programme for our space programme, we are launching a special project today.”
He claims that the “majority of Americans are members of the LMNOP community”, and that being a member will give them the right to “disassociate with drag queens”.
According to a Public Advocate press release: “Public Advocate plans to grade states, corporations and cities a letter grade from A to F for being LMNOP friendly going forward.”
The group’s grading system will apparently focus on whether “transgenders can use public bathrooms”, whether “public schools push the homosexual agenda” and whether there are “public school transgender bathrooms”.
