BTS fans unleash fury after TV presenters make ‘extremely racist’ and homophobic jokes about boyband

BTS stans have targeted a nightly news programme in Poland with fury that rivals the flames of hell itself, after hosts appeared to use homophobic and racist slurs against the band
Polish network TVP broadcasted a segment of W Tyle Wizji (Behind the Vision) Thursday evening (June 11) which saw the presenters discuss the beloved South Korean boyband.
Hosts Krzysztof Feusette and Rafał Ziemkiewicz proceeded to mispronounce BTS and then, according to fans, describe the group using racist and homophobic language.
The pair repeated throughout the slot that they “like” K-pop. However this did little to dampen the rage felt by BTS stans — otherwise known as the Army — who, indeed, sent in the troops to get “#TVPIsOverParty” trending.
It comes as Poland has been rapidly transformed into a patchwork of “LGBT-free zones”, while the country’s president has vowed to push a series of poisonous, anti-LGBT+ policies from eradicating marriage equality and same-sex adoption to blanket-banning inclusive education in state schools.
Polish presenters use racist and homophobic slurs against BTS and the backlash from the band’s fans is swift.
Footage of the show radiated across Twitter immediately that night. With Poland in the throes of a presidential election, candidates are out canvassing, and the pair joked that the parties could use BTS songs as a promotion.
Feusette voiced his distaste for BTS’ all-white costume choices, saying it makes them look like ice cream vendors. In the country, the phrase is thick with homophobic connotations, according to Polish fans.

Moreover, Ziemkiewicz went onto to make racist jibes about the band’s facial appearances, before joking that: “Maybe we shouldn’t have said anything about them, ’cause we probably will get a million emails from all over the world”.
Ziemkiewicz added “we like BTS”, while Feusette said he wanted to show everyone how “beautiful” K-Pop is. The BTS-talk petered out as the pair discussed fencing and public transit issues impacting Poland – “sorry, Korean dancers,” Feusette joked.
But the prophecy was fulfilled. As one Army member not-at-all ominously put it: “These people planning their funeral quite early.
“I would love to help dig their graves.”
And dig they did, as countless BTS stans stuffed Twitter timelines with disparaging hashtags and basically did the Lord’s work, imploring viewers to complain about the show to the network’s producers directly.
