Blake Neff, the head writer for Fox News host Tucker Carlson, has quit after it was revealed he posted a slew of racist, homophobic and misogynistic messages online.
An investigation by CNN revealed that Neff, a former Daily Caller reporter and the lead writer on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show, had posted messages online to the troll-infested internet forum AutoAdmit using the pseudonym CharlesXII.

Among the many racist messages posted by Neff in the past few months alone is a response to a thread titled: “Would u let a JET BLACK congo n****er do lasik eye surgery on u for 50% off?” Neff wrote: “I wouldn’t get LASIK from an Asian for free, so no.”
In other messages,the prolific poster suggested that “Black doods staying inside playing Call of Duty is probably one of the biggest factors keeping crime down,” also suggesting: “Given how tired Black people always claim to be, maybe the real crisis is their lack of sleep.”

When he wasn’t busy writing for one of the most openly anti-LGBT+ shows on Fox News, Neff also took to the board to mock “foodie faggots” – peppering many messages with the homophobic slur and taking part in a thread titled “Add ‘faggot’ to end of awkward Romney lines, he sounds alpha”. Neff also took part in threads referring to lesbians as “d**es”.
He also launched into misogynistic diatribes against women and female lawmakers, referring to one woman as an “ageing shrew” while claiming that Democratic lawmakers Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, and Rashida Tlaib want to “MAKE YOUR COUNTRY A DUMPING GROUND FOR PEOPLE FROM THIRD WORLD S**THOLES.”

According to CNN, on several occasions news stories that Neff discovered via the forum would become talking points on Carlson’s show – while the writer even went as far as inserting an in-joke devised on the forum into Carlson’s script on at least one occasion in 2017.
Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott and president Jay Wallace have condemned Neff’s “horrific racist, misogynistic and homophobic behaviour”.
In a message sent to all staff, they wrote: “Neff’s abhorrent conduct on this forum was never divulged to the show or the network until Friday, at which point we swiftly accepted his resignation.
“Make no mistake, actions such as his cannot and will not be tolerated at any time in any part of our work force.”
Tucker Carlson is yet to comment publicly on Neff’s departure, but is reportedly planning to address the issue on his show on Monday.
