Glee star Naya Rivera vanished while swimming with her son last week.
Rivera was reported missing last Wednesday (July 8) after she went swimming with her son in Lake Piru, Southern California.
The 33-year-old, who played Santana Lopez on Glee, rented a boat at the lake last Wednesday at round 1pm and spent the afternoon swimming with her four year old son Josey Hollis.
At 4pm, another boater discovered Hollis alone and asleep on the boat, with Rivera nowhere in sight. Her car was later discovered parked near the lake.
Investigators later announced that Rivera was assumed dead, with divers launching a “search and recovery” operation.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has aided local authorities in the search, providing divers and sonar equipment, and resources from other neighbouring counties.
The United States Coast Guard also offered its support.
