The UK government is set to ban Feuerkrieg Division, a vile white supremacist group that was linked to a plot to blow up a gay bar last year.
Home secretary Priti Patel has asked parliament for permission to ban the group, which operates in North America and Europe and is known for its attempts to recruit teenagers and young people.
Feuerkrieg Division was founded in 2018 and advocates for terrifying violence and mass murder as part of a “race war”.

Under plans released by the Home Office today (July 13), those who join or encourage others to join Feuerkrieg Division will face up to 10 years in prison.
“This vile white supremacist group advocates violence and seeks to sow division, targeting young and vulnerable people online,” Patel said in a statement.
“I am determined to do everything I can to stop the spread of extreme ideologies that encourage and glorify terrorism, which is why I have taken action to proscribe this group.”

The plans will now be debated by parliament and will come into force later this week if approved.
The group was linked to a terrifying plot to bomb a gay bar.
Feuerkrieg Division has a violent presence on both sides of the Atlantic. In September 2019, police in the UK arrested a 16-year-old member on terrorism charges.
The far-right group retaliated by sharing a list of police buildings along with an image of a police officer with a gun to his head with the words “race traitor” across his eyes.
In the United States, Conor Climo was arrested last year after he plotted to bomb a gay bar and a synagogue near his home in Las Vegas.
Conor Climo had planned to firebomb a synagogue and shoot customers at a gay bar, and had also planned to carry out an attack on the offices of the Anti-Defamation League.
He was arrested in August of last year and later confessed to being a member of Feuerkrieg Division.
In April of this year, police in Estonia arrested a 13-year-old schoolboy who was allegedly a ringleader of the organisation.
