Trans influencers beaten, robbed and left for dead in savage attack on a busy street. Not one person tried to help them

trans influencers attacked on hollywood boulevard

Three trans influencers were beaten, humiliated and robbed in a brutal attack by a group of men, and onlookers did absolutely nothing.

Eden the Doll, Jaslene White Rose and Joslyn Flawless were on the bustling Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles when they were attacked by a group of men. One of the men recorded the entire ordeal and posted it to his Instagram story.

Eden tracked down the video and shared it to her own story, to highlight the brutality of the attack and the complete lack of action from onlookers, including the police.

According to the 25-year-old YouTube star, the incident began when one of the men stole her phone as she and her two friends were waiting for an Uber.

She wrote: “We initially tried to get it back, but his friends started throwing rocks at us. We tried to run away but they chased us down.”

One of the group then stole Jaslene’s bag and hit her, and when Joslyn fell to the ground, having recently undergone hip surgery, the men watched and laughed.

As the three trans influencers desperately tried to retrieve their belongings and leave, one man ran at Jaslene from behind and hit her over the head with a large object, leaving her unconscious in the road. Eden begged with the group to call an ambulance, but they laughed and made jokes about Jaslene being “dead”.

At one point, the video captures a police car slowing down while the attack is going on, before speeding away again.

Eden wrote: “This is the scariest moment of my life. I hear sirens and pray that we finally get saved.

“The cops stopped, looked and kept driving… my heart sank, I thought this was it… More people kept walking past us. No one is stopping, no one is helping, no matter how much I begged.”

She added: “Women. Men. Our brothers and sisters. Laughing at us. This is our America.”

Joslyn posted another video on Instagram, and wrote: “He held a crow bar to my face and threatened to kill me unless I stripped my shoes off and gave him my jewellery and all my possessions. He said if I was trans he would kill me.”

Eden said that while she was okay, Joslyn and Jaslene were “really hurt”, and that the incident had been reported to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Both Joslyn and Jaslene are Black trans women, who face skyrocketing levels of violence in the US. This month, the number of trans people in the US murdered so far in 2020 surpassed the total for all of 2019.
