Multi-millionaire 50 Cent whinges that heterosexual men are the biggest targets of cancel culture

Rapper 50 Cent, who has a history of making jokes about trans people, thinks straight men are “the biggest target” of cancel culture, and we are so, so tired.
Curtis Jackson, who releases music under the name 50 Cent, became the latest famous face to speak out against “cancel culture” – or, as we like to call it, “holding people responsible for their actions” culture.
In an interview with Variety, the “Candy Shop” rapper said he doesn’t think he can be cancelled.
“They gotta go to jail to get cancelled, they gotta shoot a girl,” he said, in what many believe is a reference to Tory Lanez’s alleged shooting of Meghan Thee Stallion.
“You gotta do something extremely bad to be cancelled, and I think it’s so unfair to the people that are cancelled.”
He continued: “If you say something about someone who chooses something different, there’s organisations set up to start sending things around to get signatures and stuff.
The biggest target is heterosexual males in general.
“And tell me this, as a heterosexual male, who’s going to send things around to get signatures based on your failures? There’s no one. There’s no organisation.
“Certain demographics have been conditioned because they’ve been taken advantage of in the earliest stages. Once inferior, now they’re superior because we have no organisation.
“The biggest target is heterosexual males in general.”
50 Cent will be glad to know that he is free to set up a charity dedicated to upholding the rights of straight men if he chooses to do so.
50 Cent has a long history of making anti-LGBT+ remarks.
The acclaimed rapper is just the latest famous figure to speak out against “cancel culture”. Comedians Kevin Hart and Ricky Gervais are two of the latest stars to speak out against the supposed phenomenon.
It is not surprising 50 Cent is so opposed to cancel culture, given his track record of making offensive comments about the LGBT+ community.
In July, he suggested he might be gay for thinking Halle Berry was “still beautiful” after she announced she would be playing a trans man in a film. Berry has since pulled out of the project.
“You wanted to do what? Why?” he asked on Instagram, sharing a Daily Mail headline that explains how Berry had backtracked.
“Oh my God,” he continued. “So if I still think you’re beautiful. I’m gay ass a MF.”
In a 2010 spat with celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, he tweeted: “Perez Hilton calld [sic] me douchebag so I had my homie shoot up a gay wedding. Wasn’t his but still made me feel better.”
The same year, 50 Cent suggested that men who do not sleep with women should “just kill” themselves.
In 2015, he complained about “gay stuff” on the TV show Empire – a rival to his own creation, Power.
He wrote: “There are 3 million less viewers who tuned into last night’s Empire episode! Did you watch it? We could not take the extra gay stuff or celebrity stuff last night!”
