Bisexual pastor-turned-stripper ‘blesses’ the world with her ‘sacred’ sexuality through OnlyFans
A bisexual pastor and mum-of-three has traded the pulpit for the pole to become an erotic dancer on OnlyFans — and for her, it feels every bit as holy.
Nikole Mitchell, 36, grew up in a strict Baptist family with strong, stereotypical gender roles. She was expected to be quiet, reserved and sweet, and a career as an entertainer was totally out of the question.
“From a young age, I had fantasised about being a stripper,” Mitchell told The New York Post. “But I was indoctrinated to believe my desires and my body were innately sinful and bad.
“I was taught that women aren’t allowed to lead and that women belong in the kitchen and with the children. So even though it went against everything I was told, I decided to become [a pastor] because of my love for performing.”
It goes without saying that the possibility of being anything other than straight wasn’t an option in her family, and she herself never considered her sexuality until 2016 when she attended an LGBT+ theatre performance. It was a revelation for her.
“I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, I don’t think I’m straight’ and it rocked my world,” said Mitchell. “I knew if I revealed my queerness I would lose it all because the church is not welcoming to queer people.”
As the pastor struggled to keep her sexuality a secret she felt as if she was living “a very duplicitous life”, and knew it couldn’t continue. So on July 4, 2017, she gave her last sermon at the church and simply walked away without looking back.
“I just never showed up again,” she said.
A few months later Mitchell came out publicly as queer in a confessional YouTube video. It was a huge step, and as she faced the prospect of starting anew she decided to hire a life coach to guide her.
“I started following my life coach’s wife [on Instagram] who was doing lingerie modelling. I was kind of triggered by it… but I was also magnetically drawn to it,” she recalled.
After years of repression the pictures sparked something within her that she was keen to explore further. She signed up for a class called called “Sexpress You”, which gave her the confidence boost she needed to book her first nude photoshoot.
“I cried because I had never felt more holy and sacred in my life,” she said. “I never felt more sexy and liberated than I did then.”
Mitchell turned that feeling into a career and is now able to earn a good living selling explicit photos and videos on OnlyFans. On top of this she’s also a life coach and offers courses such as “How to Unf**k Yourself”, teaching others how to be their true self.
She now identifies as bisexual and pansexual, and has never been happier.
“Every person has the right to express themselves in whatever way feels good to them and this is how it feels good to me,” she said. “My sexuality is incredibly healing and sacred, and when I give this gift to people, it blesses them.”
