Over on Drag Race Holland, ‘Joe Exotic’ escaped prison to play the Snatch Game – and it was everything
This week, 2020 reached its logical conclusion: with Joe Exotic infiltrating the Drag Race Holland Snatch Game.
It was only a matter of time before Tiger King collided with Drag Race, really.
The Netflix docs-series is perfect drag material: larger-than-life, brilliantly camp, with a treasure trove of material to mine from.
In fact, the only surprising thing about Joe Exotic turning up on the Snatch Game is that it took place on Drag Race Holland, and not under RuPaul’s watchful eye.
While the other five remaining Dutch queens took on local celebrities, ChelseaBoy opted for the all-American-villain.
Wearing his trademark mullet, goatee and leopard print shirt, Exotic had apparently just “got the f**k” out of prison.
“Somebody’s got to feed these f**king tigers, I can’t let ’em f**king be abused like that b***h Carole Baskin, that’s right.”
No, we have no idea what’s going on either.
Seriously, not a clue.

Drag Race Holland is the fifth international spin-off of RuPaul’s magnum opus, following Chilean, Thai, UK and Canadian editions.
Franchise masterminds Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato recently revealed there will be “more Drag Races coming to more countries” in the near future.
When asked by Digital Spy if any of the upcoming editions will include drag kings and trans talent, they hinted that more diverse representation could be coming soon.
Bailey responded: “Yeah. Our constant mantra is charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent, and that does not exclude anyone.
“I mean, obviously we can’t reveal future casts. So until then, all will be revealed.”
So far there have only been a handful of queens cast as trans on the show, including US season nine’s Peppermint and Drag Race Thailand season two winner Angele Anang.
Season 13 of Drag Race recently wrapped in the US, with production reportedly underway on All Stars 6.
A second season of Drag Race UK was half-filmed when the coronavirus pandemic hit, with the BBC confirming it plans to “regroup” the contestants before the year is out. Fingers crossed at least one of them gives us the trans talent we need.
Drag Race Holland continues weekly on Thursdays at 11pm on WOW Presents Plus.
