Franklin Graham’s evangelist son denies urinating on woman’s leg during flight – even though nobody accused him
Will Graham, the son of the anti-LGBT+ hate preacher Franklin Graham, has fervently denied urinating on a woman on a flight from Las Vegas.
Alicia Beverly, 28, reported that she had been sleeping on a flight from Las Vegas to Detroit on October 12 when she awoke to find a man urinating on her.
The perpetrator was described by Fox News 2 as as “a prominent North Carolina pastor” who had a bad reaction to a sleep aid – and although Will Graham wasn’t named anywhere in the initial report, he seemed desperate to distance himself from the rumours.
“‘For some reason people who don’t know me have accused me of inappropriate actions on a flight from Las Vegas to Detroit on October 12-13,” he wrote on Twitter.
“I was with colleagues and my family morning, noon and night. I was not on a plane, pure and simple, and I certainly wasn’t involved in the sort of thing they’re suggesting.”

The woman said said she was sleeping next to her sister on the plane when she suddenly felt a warm liquid splashing on her.
“I jump up and I seen his private area out and I screamed and that woke everybody up,” Beverly said. “By that time I actually looked at him and I see him shake himself off and I’m like this man just peed on me. I looked and there was a puddle of pee in the seats.”
She screamed and woke an off-duty officer who restrained the man. He was taken into custody and issued a court appearance notice for misdemeanour assault before being released.
While social media is abuzz with speculation as to who the mysterious “well-known pastor” could be, the FBI has said they will not be releasing the man’s name until he appears in front of a judge.
Like his father and grandfather before him, Will Graham is an evangelist, and is vice president of the anti-LGBT+ Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
