Lady Gaga eviscerates Donald Trump as he spends final campaign hours calling her an ‘anti-fracking activist’ for supporting Joe Biden
Donald Trump has shown just how desperate he’s getting by lashing out at Joe Biden for working with the famous “anti-fracking activist” Lady Gaga.
Gaga, who is of course best known for her stance on fracking, will appear at a drive-in rally for Biden in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Monday (2 November) to help build last-minute support for the Democratic nominee – and it’s safe to say that the announcement rattled Trump and his campaign staff.
The Trump re-election campaign released a statement on Sunday night (1 November) that read: “Nothing exposes Joe Biden’s disdain for the forgotten working men and women of Pennsylvania like campaigning with anti-fracking activist Lady Gaga.”
The statement went on to brand the drive-in rally a “desperate effort to drum up enthusiasm for his lacklustre candidacy” and said Gaga’s appearance at the event would come as “a sharp stick in the eye for 600,000 Pennsylvanians who work in the fracking industry”.
The unintentionally hilarious statement was shared on Twitter by Trump’s director for communications Tim Murtaugh and quickly found its way to Lady Gaga herself.
Lady Gaga, the famous anti-fracking activist, is glad to be living rent free in the head of Donald Trump.
The “Born This Way” singer – sorry, anti-fracking activist – shared an image of the statement with a “Vote Biden” message and wrote: “Heeeey Donald… #WINNING (also, what is a fracking?)”
“HEY TIM HEY,” Gaga tweeted to Murtaugh. “SO HAPPY IM GLAD TO BE LIVING RENET FREE in your HEAD. #BidenHarris.”

Donald Trump, who is trailing behind Biden in the polls, doubled down on his campaign’s fury with Lady Gaga on Monday morning (2 November).
“Just learned that Sleepy Joe Biden is campaigning in Pennsylvania with Lady Gaga, a proud member of ‘Artists Against Fracking’,” Trump tweeted.
“This is more proof that he would ban Fracking and skyrocket your energy prices…
“As I said at the debate – ‘Will you remember that Texas? Pennsylvania? Ohio? New Mexico?’ I will always protect American Energy and American Jobs!”
Trump’s decision to focus his rage on none other than Lady Gaga less than 48 hours before the presidential election has sent Twitter into meltdown.
The US election is less than 48 hours away and the Trump campaign is focused on attacking Lady Gaga. Does Donald Trump really have nothing else to do or is Lady Gaga just that relevant and powerful? pic.twitter.com/fq3uNBNsNX— My Name Is James (@_JamesGtfo) November 1, 2020

The furore comes just days after Lady Gaga urged her followers to get out and vote in the 3 November presidential election with a video in which she wore iconic outfits from her legendary career, including the famous meat-dress, her Super Bowl costume, and the outfit she wore in the music video for “Poker Face” more than a decade ago.
“If you want to change this system, if you want this country to be different than it is right now, you have got to participate in this election,” Lady Gaga said in the video.
“When they announce who has won the election, it will be very clear what this country has become. The government is not going away tomorrow and unless you have a plane ticket to another country and somewhere that you’re gonna live, this is going to be your home.
“I’m telling you that no matter how you feel your future is still in your hands with this vote. What you choose to do will affect you. and the fact is that the most critical vote right now is the one this country may never get to see, it’s yours.”
Biden is leading in the polls ahead of the presidential election.
