Real Housewives star Braunwyn Windham-Burke doesn’t care what petty bigots think about her sexuality

Real Housewives of Orange County star Braunwyn Windham-Burke had the best clapback when a fan questioned her sexuality and family life.
Windham-Burke came out as a lesbian in an interview with GLAAD on 2 December, telling the organisation: “I’m finally comfortable enough to say: I like women. I’m gay. I’m a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. I’m a lesbian.”
In the same interview, Windham-Burke explained that she and her husband will remain married as they still consider each other family, even though they no longer have a romantic relationship.
The Real Housewives star decided to answer some fan questions on Instagram, and she had the best clapback for a commenter who questioned her sexuality.
“So if she has a girlfriend why is she in a family photo with her husband?” a follower wrote. “I’m so lost… These kids have to be so confused about what a marriage is.”
Windham-Burke replied: “Not at all.”
Referencing the reality star’s seven children, another wrote: “How can you say you’ve never been attracted to men with all those children you have? You must have liked something about him at some point.”
Windham-Burke simply replied: “Feel free to Google and educate yourself.”

The reality television star also faced other questions about her sexuality from fans, and she graciously took the time to provide as many answers as she could.
When one fan asked whether the “divorce rumours” are true, she responded: “Right now we’re taking it one day at a time and figuring out what works, we don’t have any answers, we just know we love our kids and we will always be family.”
In the comments, Windham-Burke also praised her girlfriend Kris, saying she is “lovely”.

In her interview with GLAAD, Windham-Burke revealed that she has never been attracted to men, but plans to remain married to her husband Sean Burke.
She said she is “so proud” to be comfortable enough to come out as gay aged 43.
“I’m still getting used to it… I knew I was attracted to women. I always have been… I got married very young and I never thought about it,” Windham-Burke said.
She continued: “I’m just now starting to feel like I’m becoming the woman I was supposed to be. So for me to be living completely authentically and say, ‘I’m a lesbian. That was who I have always been.’ This isn’t something that is new, cause that I think is what a lot of people will think.”
Windham-Burke also revealed that her husband knows her girlfriend Kris and that they have her over for dinner with the family and go to parties together.
