Chromatica’s commander-in-chief Lady Gaga shares powerful message of peace ahead of inauguration
Lady Gaga blessed the mortal realm with her divine presence on Tuesday (19 January) to tour the Capitol in Washington DC, US, ahead of the inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
In the final hours of the Donald Trump presidency, Gaga uploaded a casual photo of herself that single-handedly revived the Baroque art movement.
Wearing all-white in a billowing sheath cape and face mask, the rotunda of the Capitol complex framing her like almost like a halo, Gaga delivered a soulful sermon on social media about what Joe Biden’s inauguration as the 46th US president means to her.
Lady Gaga: Inauguration is a day of ‘dreaming of our future joy’
“I pray tomorrow will be a day of peace for all Americans,” Pope Gaga the First began, The Apotheosis of Washington visible behind her. “A day for love, not hatred. A day for acceptance not fear.
I pray tomorrow will be a day of peace for all Americans. A day for love, not hatred. A day for acceptance not fear. A day for dreaming of our future joy as a country. A dream that is non-violent, a dream that provides safety for our souls. Love, from the Capitol 🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/fATHiJHCq0

“A day for dreaming of our future joy as a country. A dream that is non-violent, a dream that provides safety for our souls.
“Love, from the Capitol,” Gaga concluded, capping it with a US flag emoji. She may be the first prime minister of Chromatica, but Stefani Germanotta enjoys dual citizenship as an American-born citizen.
The “Stupid Love” hitmaker will Wednesday afternoon (20 January) perform the national anthem for the swearing-in ceremony that will take place in the West Wing of the Capitol.
Dressed in a “Joe” sweatshirt, the 34-year-old said she was “deeply honoured” to be given the chance to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” in an Instagram post.
With Trump heading for the exit door of the White House and Washington bracing itself for far-right unrest at what is meant to be a peaceful transfer of power, Biden will become president in a vastly scaled-back inauguration ceremony.
Much the ornate glitz has been downsized or made virtual amid the coronavirus pandemic, with a cross-network televised special featuring Demi Lovato airing instead of the usual ceremonial balls.
In the meantime, we look forward to the incoming deluge of ‘Trump-Biden transition to the tune of “Chromatica II” transitioning to “911”‘ memes.
