Fenty Beauty and Skin sale launches in the UK: how to get bronzers, lipgloss and more

Fans in the UK can shop Rihanna's Fenty Beauty at Boots.

The hugely popular and gender inclusive cosmetic brand Fenty Beauty from Rihanna has launched a huge sale in the UK.

While fans impatiently wait for the singer to release another album they can get 20% off Fenty Beauty products for a limited time.

The sale is taking place on the Boots website and it ends today (2 February) so you don’t have long to get your hands on Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin products.

It features 85 items in total including fan favourite products Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer, Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Concealer, Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzer and Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Setting Powder.

The prices on the sale items start from £6.40 and go up to £36.80, with every single product reduced by least 20% off, so you can make some pretty decent savings on makeup and skin care products.

When the line launched in the UK at Harvey Nichols it became the biggest beauty launch, rivalling MAC Cosmetics, and was eventually released in select Boots stores as well as its website.

Since its launch in 2017 the brand has received a positive response for its diverse advertising campaigns which prominently features black models and models of colour.

She also responded to a fan who asked whether she would cast trans models in future campaigns saying: “I’ve had the pleasure of working with many gifted trans women over the years, but I don’t go around doing trans castings! Just like I don’t do straight non trans women castings. I respect all women. Whether they’re trans or not is none of my business.

“I don’t think it’s fair that a trans woman, or man, be used as a convenient marketing tool! too often I see companies doing this to trans and black women alike. There’s always just that one spot in the campaign for the token ‘we look mad diverse’ girl/guy! It’s sad!”, she added.

Following the success of her beauty range the singer turned mogul has also released a lingerie line, Savage X Fenty, which has been accompanied by an annual fashion show.

They’ve both premiered on Amazon Prime Video and have been noted as much more diverse versions of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, with guests including Shea Couleé, Jaida Essence Hall, Gigi Goode, Lizzo and Cara Delevingne.
