Chris Pratt vehemently denies using the N word and other racist slurs

Chris Pratt has said widely circulated tweets showing him using the N word and other racist slurs were faked.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star became the subject of controversy when a series of widely shared tweets allegedly showed Pratt saying: “Calling another n***a a ‘n****r’ is hilarious idc” and “Muslims scare me so much”.
A representative for Pratt told TMZ that the tweets, allegedly posted in 2012 and 2013 before being deleted, were entirely fabricated.
“Chris never tweeted the offensive things that are being circulated today,” the representative said.
“Any suggestion that he did is not only totally false but also defamatory.”
Twitter reps have also spoken out, with a senior staff member saying they “strongly believe” that they were faked.
However, Pratt’s representative confirmed that one widely circulated tweet, in which the actor implied that Miss Universe contestants were too skinny, was real.
Chris Pratt has been branded the ‘worst Chris’
Once hugely popular, Pratt has seen his reputation battered in recent times, largely due to his ties to an allegedly anti-LGBT+ megachurch.
He was overwhelmingly voted the “worst Chris” in October 2020 when Twitter was asked to vote between Pratt, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans and Chris Pine, with many citing his involvement with the Hillsong Church.
The Marvel star’s religious beliefs attracted criticism in 2019 when Elliot Page said his church is “famously anti-LGBTQ”.
Pratt ardently denied that he is involved with an anti-LGBT+ church, writing on Instagram: “It has recently been suggested that I belong to a church which ‘hates a certain group of people’ and is ‘infamously anti-LGBTQ’. Nothing could be further from the truth.”
Chris Pratt has also been accused of being a Trump supporter, although he has said he doesn’t “feel represented by either” the Republicans or Democrats.
When he was named the “worst Chris”, Mark Ruffalo, Robert Downey Jr, Terry Crews and several other high-profile actors publicly defended him, while his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger wrote on Instagram: “Which Hollywood Chris is the best? Is this really what we need?”
Schwarzenegger added: “There’s so much going on in the world and people are struggling in so many ways. Being mean is so yesterday.”
