Lady Gaga having her dogs stolen and her dog walker shot may have been all part of a “gang initiation”, a source has claimed.
Last month, dog walker Ryan Fischer strolled along Sierra Bonita Avenue in Hollywood when two individuals got out of a white car and, at gunpoint, demanded he hand over the singer’s three dogs.
The men made off with two of her French bulldogs, Koji and Gustav, after a struggle ended when one of the perpetrators shot him in the chest with a semiautomatic handgun.
While the pups have since been safely returned to the hitmaker and Fischer on the road to recovery, sources told TMZ that the dognapping might not have been a regular incident.

The insider with knowledge of the Los Angeles Police Department’s investigation claimed that officers have told Lady Gaga not to pay the person who gave her dogs back the thumping $500,000 reward money.
Investigators fear that the woman who returned the dogs may have been involved in the crime. Until she is cleared by cops, Lady Gaga will not give the reward money to her, they claimed.
Moreover, police are reportedly wary that the incident may be connected to a string of similar crimes that have occurred in the Los Angeles area.
The MO of the dognappers, the source suggested, might have been “gang initiation”.
During the incident, captured on nearby surveillance cameras, Fischer was not near the dogs when he was shot. The dogs were, in fact, closer to the men and the vehicle they used to flee from the scene.
In the meantime, Lady Gaga has allegedly pledged to pay Fischer’s £70,000 medical bills as he recovers in hospital.
And in an earlier statement to TMZ, Fischer’s family sought to praise first responders for treating Fischer, who found the 30-year-old cradling Gaga’s third dog, Miss Asia, in his arms as they tended to his wounds.
“Thankfully, Ryan is receiving extraordinary care in the hospital right now and his doctors expect him to make a full recovery,” they said in the statement.
“We cannot possibly say enough to thank all of the first responders, nurses, and doctors who have worked so tirelessly to care for Ryan.”
