Fragile Capitol rioter bans trans people and Biden voters from his coffee shop
A man named Adam Newbold, who took part in the US Capitol insurrection, has banned all trans people and Joe Biden supporters from his coffee shop.
The former Navy Seal and full-time snowflake is closing the doors of C4 Coffee Shop in Ohio to any clientele who don’t share his views.
“If you voted for Joe Biden, don’t buy our coffee, it’s not for you,” Adam Newbold declared in a video posted to the right-wing platform Rumble. “If you believe there was nothing wrong with this election, don’t buy our coffee. It’s not for you.
“If you feel that America is on the right track and there’s nothing wrong with gender neutral, don’t know which bathroom to use, use whichever bathroom you feel like during the day… don’t buy our coffee ’cause it’s not for you.”
As well as trans people, his coffee is also not for anyone who supports kneeling before the American flag as a form of protest – yet he says the deadly MAGA insurrection was “historic” and “necessary”.
“I was there, I witnessed the patriotic angry Americans chanting, ‘USA, USA,'” he said in a video he posted online in January.
“It was historic, it was necessary, and the reason I say I’m proud of Americans is because I wasn’t sure if we still had the spine anymore. Now I see that it exists.”
Despite his effusive praise at the time, Newbold insists that he did not actually enter the Capitol or participate in any of the rioting.
In fact, he claims he “spent most of my time trying to de-escalate a largely volatile and potentially deadly situation” and that he “told rioters to stand down”.
“The assertion that I or anyone with me had the intent to commit sedition or to overthrow the government is absolutely absurd. I feel I have stood strongly for the government, the president and the Constitution,” Newbold said.
He added to ABC News that he has been interviewed by the FBI and is now cooperating with investigators.
