Lil Nas X’s new video “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” has got the entire internet talking, and the memes are flying.

The Grammy Award-winning artist burst into the music scene in 2019 with the wholesome hit “Old Town Road“. The hit has not quit, and now “Old Town Road” has become the most-streamed song of all time in the US, according to Chart Data.

Alongside the fantastic milestone, Lil Nas X released his new single “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” on Friday (26 March) with a provocative, thirst-inducing, self-directed video with Tanu Muino.

The video depicts several alter-egos of Lil Nas X in scenes that are inspired by history and mythology. This includes making out with an alien version of himself, a Marie Antoinette-meets-The Hunger Games stoning and a lap dance with the devil.

Needless to say, fans were wowed by the fantastically queer video, and it’s already inspired some amazing reactions from people on Twitter.
