Ollie Locke and husband share exciting surrogacy plans – and want fans to join them on their journey

Made in Chelsea star Ollie Locke has revealed that he and his husband Gareth are planning on having a baby via a surrogate.
The reality television star revealed the news in a heartfelt Instagram post, which was accompanied with an illustration of two Disney princes cradling a baby and embracing lovingly.
“So I think it might be the time to tell you all!” Locke wrote. “Gareth and I are very much on our surrogacy journey to become fathers.
“We are very nearly there, with the help of the best person we could ever ask for! (You know who you are, our heavenly surrogate).
“After many months of planning, legal formalities (I can’t believe it has been so difficult) and building the next stage to our home, we will soon be travelling to America (as soon as we can, sadly fertility is not essential travel!!) with our surrogate and hopefully come pregnant.”

Ollie Locke promised that he, Gareth and their surrogate will take the public along for the journey, through the ups and downs, as they try to have a baby.

“Through may own social media, Made in Chelsea and (I’m sure) other TV platforms we will all go through this together and we couldn’t be more excited to become parents,” he added, tagging his husband Gareth, who shared an identical post on his own Instagram account.
Locke’s announcement comes after he and Gareth opened up about their surrogacy plans in an interview in The Sunday Times.
In the interview, Ollie Locke said he and his husband will not know which of them is the biological father of the infant when the time comes.
The happy couple also revealed that they had “waited a long time” to share their surrogacy plans with the world because it was “a hugely important discussion”.
Ollie and Gareth tied the knot in November 2020, just before England went into its second coronavirus lockdown.
The beautiful ceremony came after the couple were forced to postpone the wedding twice due to the pandemic.
The pair opened up about their heartbreak at learning that they could not get married in a church due to their sexuality during an appearance on Made in Chelsea last year.
The couple also spoke candidly about their limited honeymoon options, as homosexuality is still illegal in numerous countries around the world.
