Bimini Bon Boulash signs with major modelling agency in ‘huge’ win for non-binary representation
Drag Race UK finalist Bimini Bon Boulash has signed with Next Model Management, who boast clientele including Alexa Chung, Billie Eilish and Dua Lipa.
Bimini wrote in an Instagram post: “Never in my wildest dreams would I have ever thought this possible. This opportunity is a huge, crazy, mind-blowing moment for my gender-non comforting ass and to top it all off they have signed me to the management’s main booking list rather than special bookings… which makes me gag!
“This is huge for non-binary representation in fashion and I’m so thankful that Next want to take this chance with me!!”

Bimini told Vogue: “For the average person walking down the road, being androgynous is not easy. There’s just not been that many people out and proud as non-binary.
“There shouldn’t be boxes or labels that we put upon ourselves. I go against the norms of gender but that’s just how it fits me.”
Next Model Management are one of the industry giants, and Bimini Bon Boulash has been signed as a model, alongside Alexa Chung and Ana Barros Beatriz.
Next also represents world-famous talent including Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, A$AP Rocky and Lil Nas X.
President of Next Models Amanda Bretherton told Vogue: “Inclusivity should absolutely extend to all gender identities.
“Bimini exudes beauty inside and out and carries such an important message which is needed right now: positivity and acceptance. It is what we all need for a beautiful future.”
Fans on social media – who Bimini has dubbed their ‘Bimbos’ – are gagging over the news, calling it a step towards “world domination for our queer representation”.
On Instagram, Bimini has also seen an outpouring of support from Drag Race royalty, including Gigi Goode, Brook Lynne Hytes and Jiggly Caliente. Fellow non-binary monarchs Jamie Windust and Travis Alabanza have also expressed their excitement.
Bimini Bon Boulash has gone from strength to strength since Drag Race UK wrapped, announcing their publishing deal with Penguin last week. The self-proclaimed “Bimini Bon book author” will release their debut later this year, and it’s already available for preorder.
