Lizzo drunkenly slid into Chris Evans’ DMs – and got a reply: ‘Damn papa, he a rare breed’

Lizzo has revealed that she sent Chris Evans a drunk DM – and he responded in the best possible way.
The “Good as Hell” singer shared details of the cryptic message she sent Evans on TikTok – consisting simply of three emojis: a wind-blowing emoji, a woman playing basketball and a basketball.
Lizzo didn’t explain what the emojis meant, but fans quickly figured it was her way of shooting her shot with Evans – which, to be fair, is something we would all do if we were given the chance.
The singer shared details of her drunk DM on TikTok, simply captioning the post: “Don’t drink and DM, kids…”

In the video, Lizzo lip-synced to audio recorded by Tatayanna Mitchell and showed a screenshot of the DM.
“The reason I’m upset about this one is because I know I’m not gonna be able to marry him,” Lizzo lip-synced. “And honestly, it hurts me to the core. Because damn papa, he a rare breed, no comparing. Like, Chris…”

While most people’s drunk DMs end in disaster, Lizzo actually got a response. The singer shared an update with fans on TikTok, showing Evans’ perfect reply to her cryptic message.
“No shame in a drunk DM,” Evans wrote, adding a kissing emoji. “God knows I’ve done worse on this app lol,” he wrote, ending with a facepalm emoji – presumably referring to the time he accidentally leaked his own nudes on Instagram.
This isn’t the first time Lizzo and Chris Evans have shared an online flirtation. In 2019, Evans shared one of the singer’s posts on Twitter. She replied to his tweet by simply writing: “Wow marry me.”
Lizzo’s bid to marry Chris Evans comes just weeks after she confirmed that she is single after she was spotted in Malibu, California, with an unknown man.
The singer quickly dispelled romance rumours, posting on Instagram to confirm that she was single.
