Love, Victor: Everything you need to know about season two including release date, episodes and cast
Love, Victor is returning for a second season, meaning we’ll finally get to find out what happened after that finale episode (warning, article contains spoilers).
It’s been confirmed that the new series will be released on Hulu from 11 June with 10 episodes in total.
The storyline for season two of Love, Victor is being kept tightly under wraps, but fans will be desperate to know the aftermath of the titular character coming out to his conservative family.
Viewers will also want to catch up with Victor’s ex-girlfriend Mia and potential new boyfriend Benji, his awkward best friend Felix who sparked an unlikely romance with Lake, as well as his parents, who revealed they were separating in the last episode.
All of the main cast are expected to return, while Betsy Brandt will join as Felix’s mother alongside newcomers Ava Capri, playing Benji’s cool and free spirited friend and Anthony Keyvan, as a funny and effusive LGBT+ student at Creekwood who is at the start of his coming out journey
The series is a spin-off of the 2018 film Love, Simon starring Nick Robinson who narrates and makes a cameo in the first season, while the film itself was an adaption of the novel Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli.

The first season was controversially moved from the family-friendly streaming service Disney Plus to its sister platform Hulu in the US due to its “adult themes”.
In a podcast with The Hollywood Reporter showrunner Elizabeth Berger said the move to Hulu would allow them to address grown-up issues.
She said: “As we move into season two, we have some really serious relationships that are forming between our characters, and they’re at that time in life where you fall in love and you have sex potentially with the person you’re in love with.
“I think there’s just a freedom to tell high school stories authentically that we didn’t necessarily feel we had before.”
Meanwhile UK viewers finally got the chance to watch the first season of Love, Victor almost a year later when it was released on the new Disney Plus Star platform in February 2021.
The series joined the likes of Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty, Prison Break, Atlanta and The X Files on the more “adult” service and was released in weekly instalments, finishing up on Friday, 16 April.
It’s unknown if the second season’s release date in the US will coincide with the UK, or whether fans will once again have to wait a little longer to catch up with Victor and co.
To stream season two of Love, Victor from 11 June in the US you can sign up to Hulu, while UK viewers can sign up to Disney+.
