Ricky Martin goes full leather daddy in thirst-inspiring cover shoot
Ricky Martin looks ready to hit up his local leather bar and get even the bouncer to call him “daddy” in a new magazine cover.
In a cover shoot for fashion magazine Schön! for its 40th issue, “All About Music”, Ricky Martin matched a leather jacket with the tightest leather trousers known in human history and donned what appears to be a mesh, sequinned shirt. He also wore a metal bust of a six-pack and pecs with a black tank and jeans.
The “Livin’ La Vida Loca” hitmaker basically did what he has does best – looking oppressively attractive. Oh, and singing. He does that sometimes, too.

For the digital cover story, the publication’s fashion editor at large, Douglas Van Laningham, styled the 49-year-old and was photographed by Isaac Anthony.
“Always fun with [Van Laningham],” Martin wrote on social media Tuesday (27 April).
We, for one, are eternally grateful for Van Laningham’s decision to dress Martin in the world’s most high-waisted Jean-Paul Gaultier jeans worn with a revealing leather tank top and a pile of metal hardware necklaces.

Ricky Martin ‘says f**k toxic masculinity’ in new shoot
As they were legally obligated to, Ricky Martin’s thirsty fans praised the musician for “saying f**k toxic masculinity”, while countless were more than happy to call him daddy.

In the interview with writer Patrick Clark, Martin reflects on his 30 years in music as well as more recent developments – his “lockdown reinvention”. Chiefly, this involved bleaching his beard blond as well as dyeing his hair red and getting a sprawling leg tattoo.
But that’s not all the singer has done during lockdown. In September 2020, he visited the Pulse Massacre memorial site and paid tribute to the 49 victims of the horrendous attack.
Sharing photographs of his visit, Martin wrote on Twitter at the time: “We will never forget and we will never let hate win.”
Martin featured in the issue alongside fellow musical icons Tinashe, Saweetie, Miguel, La La Anthony, Dove Cameron and Kendrick Sampson.
