He shared the details alongside an orange heart emoji and a hot face emoji, suggesting fans might get a little bit hot under their collars watching his SNL performance.
Fans left ‘shaking’ after Lil Nas X announces Saturday Night Live performance
Fans are already practicing their lapdance skills in preparation for the singer and rapper’s SNL debut – and it’s safe to say they’re excited.
“The gays are shakinggg Anya Taylor Joy AND Lil Nas X?!???” one fan commented.
Another summed up all our thoughts, writing in capitals: “Ahhhhhhhhh we will be watching” alongside four flame emojis.
The news comes just weeks after Lil Nas X captured the hearts of LGBT+ fans across the world with the gloriously queer music video for “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)”.
The iconic music video shows Lil Nas X sliding down a stripper pole to hell, where he grinds on Satan in a very special lapdance.
The song has become a global hit, shooting to the top of the charts in numerous countries – including in Saudi Arabia, where gay sex is illegal.
Needless to say, the song and its accompanying music video sent religious fanatics into a furious rage – and the “Holiday” singer wasn’t interested in defusing the furore. Instead, he released his own Satan-themed Nike shoes, with each shoe containing a single drop of human blood.
Sadly, fans never got to see the wildly expensive shoes after Nike filed a lawsuit to stop them from being shipped – but the stunt made sure that Lil Nas X was firmly planted in everyone’s minds.
