JoJo Siwa trying to get heterosexual kissing scene pulled from her new Christmas movie

JoJo Siwa has revealed that she’s trying to get a heterosexual kissing scene pulled from her upcoming Christmas film Bounce.
The film, directed by To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before‘s Susan Johnson, will see Siwa star as a teenager called Franny who wishes she could trade in her challenging family for another at Christmas time. Her wish is granted, and Franny finds herself bouncing into the lives of other teenage girls, living Christmas Day over and over again.
Speaking to EW, JoJo Siwa – who came out as a member of the LGBT+ community earlier this year – said she is hoping to get a scene where her character kisses a boy pulled from the film.
“I’m madly in love and I do not want to kiss another human. Especially because it’s a man,” Siwa said.
The Dance Moms star said her girlfriend Kylie Prew is absolutely fine with her doing the scene – but the on-screen kiss still doesn’t sit right with Siwa.

Furthermore, she said she worries her fans will see it as JoJo Siwa kissing a boy instead of her character Franny kissing a boy.
“That’s what they look at me as, not some character, not some fictional thing. And so it’s going to be a little weird,” Siwa said.
She added: “I’m not about it. I’m trying to get it pulled so bad. It’ll happen. It’ll get pulled.”
Shortly after the article went out, Siwa tweeted: “My friends at Paramount and my friend Caleb Pinkett are 1000 per cent supportive of me and assured me that I don’t have to do anything I don’t wanna do ever!!! I’m so excited to make the movie Bounce and couldn’t have better people to make it with!!”
JoJo Siwa wants to make a ‘gay pop record’
Elsewhere in her wide-ranging interview with EW, Siwa revealed that she is “finally the happiest that I’ve ever been” since she came out earlier this year.
She also discussed her plans for the future, saying she wants to make a “gay pop” record.
“About a year ago, I started having all these music meetings just for fun, just getting my head where I want to go,” Siwa said.
“And I told all these producers, ‘I want to create gay pop, and I want to have a concert for the girls and for the gays.’ Turns our a year later, I am very much so gay.”
