Billy Porter just dropped a gender neutral Jimmy Choo collection for Pride – and it’s incredible

Billy Porter is glowing in a brand new campaign for Jimmy Choo’s Pride capsule collection.
The Pose star has teamed up with Jimmy Choo to create fabulous, gender neutral shoes to celebrate Pride month.
The capsule collection is now available from the UK Jimmy Choo website and the US Jimmy Choo website.

The Pride collection features boots, pumps, loafers and bags and highlights the actor’s distinctive flair for fashion, drama and his love for shoes.
Discussing the collaboration, the Broadway legend says: “This line is dedicated to my mother, whose biggest dream as a disabled woman was to be able to walk in a pair of high heeled shoes.
“She never got to achieve that dream, but I get to stand in proxy for her for all the world to see. My mother is the personification of the power of what true unconditional love looks like.

Porter also adds that the collection is gender neutral, saying “my goal is to free folks from the chains that bind authenticity on all levels.”
It features four ankle boots, three pumps and two loafers with bold designs curated by Porter, including orange and blue suede, gold liquid and animal print – of course.
There’s also two clutch bags in the collection with an orange croc-embossed design and an animal print palette to mix-and-match with the shoes.

The inclusive collection is available in extended sizing up to women’s EU 45/US 15 and will be followed up with the brand debuting an extended size range across more women’s styles in July.
To mark the release Jimmy Choo has confirmed a $100,000 donation to support The Trevor Project, which is the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organisation for young LGBT+ people.
