In need of a gaming headset? Turtle Beach has you covered.
Anyone looking to play online needs to invest in a decent gaming headset, whether you’re playing Fortnite, Warzone or Among Us with friends… or enemies.
Turtle Beach has a range of headsets available at different prices compatible with both PC and consoles.

At the top end of the range is the 600 Gen 2 headset, which retails for £89.99.
This wireless headset has a USB dongle that plugs into your PC or console and easily syncs up to the headset once switched on. Battery life is a decent 15 hours, but the lack of bluetooth does mean these cannot be used with other mobile devices.
The integrated microphone flips down from the left earphone with a satisfying clunk and controls also on the left can be used for volume and mic level separately to balance sound levels.
The sound quality is also excellent with clarity and rich bass sounds. The headset uses Sony’s 3D Audio technology for spatial surround sound, while the Superhuman Hearing mode amplifies even the quietest sounds. All of that is perfect for gaming sessions, balancing voice chat and gaming audio, as well as great quality music.
The design looks a bit chunky but the earphones are surprisingly lightweight. They’re available in either black or white with either a green or blue trim, depending if you’re after the Xbox or PlayStation models.
Better still, the headset has been designed with glasses users in mind: the soft cushions and earphone shape are designed to not put pressure on your frames – much needed for long gaming sessions.

For a cheaper option, the Recon 70 headset is well worth checking out at only £24.99 and they’re now available in a fun white camo colour.
This headset is wired so a little less flexible, but that does mean they can be used across multiple devices without the need for USB.
Sound quality is lacking compared with the 600 Gen 2, but is still decent for the price. And the flip down mic (though not integrated) offers audio clarity when speaking.
With a lightweight and more streamlined design (that do grip your head a little), the Recon 70s are a great option for the more casual gamer still looking for a quality headset.
