Zendaya served icon channelling Lola Bunny on the red carpet – and you can too with a new ASOS Space Jam collection.
The Euphoria star’s colourful outfit at the premiere of the new film is a nod to the classic Looney Tunes character, who she voices in the eagerly-anticipated sequel.
She paired a statement colour blocked two-piece jacket and shorts combo by Moschino with white pump heels and a high ponytail.
Zendaya’s reference to her Space Jam character on the film premiere’s red carpet was confirmed by her stylist Law Roach who posted a video of the star with the caption: “Tell me you’re Lola Bunny without telling me you’re Lola Bunny.”

Zendaya voices Lola Bunny in the upcoming sequel to the 1996 hit film, which also stars LeBron James and Don Cheadle.
In March 2021 it was announced by Warner Bros. that Lola Bunny would be “less sexualised” in the upcoming reboot.
The film’s director Malcolm D. Lee said at the time: “This is a kids’ movie, why is she in a crop top? It just felt unnecessary, but at the same time there’s a long history of that in cartoons.”
In a recent interview with IndieWire, Lee said this announcement received a “super weird backlash” from some people.
“Listen, I understand people don’t want things to change, but I think we needed some evolution with her, not by objectifying her but by making her strong and still feminine,” he added.
In the upcoming film, Space Jam: A New Legacy the character wears hoodies instead of a crop top and a basketball jersey with a rainbow-hued logo on it – which is also referenced in Zendaya’s red carpet outfit.

In the original Space Jam, the independent bunny became a fan favourite thanks to lines including “Don’t ever call me ‘doll'” – and we expect that Zendaya will deliver some more iconic lines in the upcoming film.
