Britney Spears and Cher make adorable plans for when she’s won her freedom
Britney Spears and Cher are living their best lives as they make plans to jet to Saint-Tropez in the France Riveria and eat ice cream together.
Our invite was clearly lost in the mail. At least, that’s what we’re telling ourselves.
On Thursday (22 July), Britney took to Instagram to dance and speak about keeping her “dreams alive” as she appeared to hint at what she would do with her life if freed from her conservatorship.
“Maybe I’ll just be nice and plant here and keep my dreams alive by thinking about visiting St Tropez with Cher and eating ice cream,” Spears wrote in a caption, adding that she wants to one day have “abs like J-Lo“.

“She was one of my favourite singers as a kid and I loved to dress up as her.”
Britney actually performed Sonny and Cher’s 1967 classic, “The Beat Goes On”, at the 1999 World Music Awards – complete with a black, right-angled wig.
Cher calls for Britney Spears to be ‘finally free’
A few hours after Britney posted to Instagram, Cher not only said she’s down for the trip, but signalled her support for #FreeBritney – the grassroots, fan-driven movement calling for the singer’s freedom.
“When #FreeBritney is FINALLY FREE,” Cher tweeted, “I’m Taking to San Tropez and We’ll Eat Ice Cream To Her Hearts Content.”

The “Believe” singer has been an outspoken critic of Britney’s decade-long conservatorship, having urged her father Jamie Spears to “move over” and let her have a life.
“I think her father should move over and let her have her life” Cher told the Press Association in April, in the wake of the Framing Britney Spears documentary that brought the Free Britney movement to the forefront of the public eye.
“I believe she’s been paying long enough.”
Britney Spears ‘won’t settle’ for less ever again
Britney also gave fans an insight into her current situation and her ongoing fight for autonomy.
“So what do you guys do to keep your dreams alive,” she asked.
“Just curious cause at this point I’m not sure it’s a good idea to listen to advice from some people.”
She explained how a day earlier, she’d realised that she needed new tennis shoes to dance in, revealing that she dances for three hours most days.
“When I woke up yesterday and remembered I had none I pulled a Carrie Bradshaw and ordered a bunch of new shoes online,” she said.
“My assistants HUMBLING APPROACH [of] why don’t you just see what you can find in your closet DID NOT WORK ANYMORE … I chose to BLOW and guess what … my feet are soaring these days.”
Britney vowed to not stop buying tennis shoes and heels, and more than that, to never settle for anything less than what she wants/
“The other day I said I feel like I’m just getting here … THAT’S AN UNDERSTATEMENT,” she added, confirming reports that she has been permitted to drive her own car again.
“It’s been a while since I drove alone and well let’s just say it’s a DIFFERENT BALLGAME cause I’m not sure this stadium ? is gonna be anywhere near America.”
