Apex Legends’ undeniably hot newcomer Seer confirmed as canonically pansexual
Seer, the latest addition to Apex Legends, is canonically pansexual.
On 3 August the new season of Apex Legends will begin, called Emergence, and introduces new character Seer.
Considered cursed by some, Seer, a.k.a. Obi Edolasim, is an artist who uses his unique abilities to see enemies on the battlefield using moth-like micro-drones.
First introduced in a stunning “Metamorphosis” animated video, the latest vignette shows this “champion of the outcasts” in action.
Seer is able to hear the heartbeats of enemies and can summon micro-drones to reveal enemy locations through walls, or within a large radius. He’s the 18th Legend to join the ranks.
And he’s now been confirmed as pansexual.
Amanda Doiron, lead writer at Apex developer Respawn, was asked about the character’s sexuality on Twitter, to which she responded: “Seer sees to the heart of people and doesn’t limit himself to a specific gender.”
Nope. Seer sees to the heart of people and doesn't limit himself to a specific gender.

She later confirmed in the thread that he’s pansexual.
When he was first revealed, some toxic fans complained that he looked gay – likely just a backlash against the amount of LGBT+ representation in the game.
Seer joins Fuse as pansexual, along with queer characters Bloodhound (non-binary), Loba (bisexual), Gibraltar (gay) and Valkyrie (lesbian).

Respawn may be looking to include a transgender character in future.
Fans have also joked that the character bears a striking resemblance to TikTok star William Knight.
Apex Legends: Emergence will also introduce Ranked Arena matches for the first time. There will also be new Arena maps in rotation, a new Rampage LMG gun, and a new World’s Edge map that’s been decimated by snow.
The season launches on 3 August across all platforms – Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, PC – and remains free-to-play.
