Britney Spears’ engagement ring is engraved with the word ‘lioness’
The gorgeous, sparkling diamond ring was created by New York designer Roman Malayev, according to Page Six. The “one-of-a-kind” ring has the word “lioness” – his nickname for Spears – engraved on the inside of the band.

In a statement, Asghari said he “clicked” with Malayev and ultimately went with the designer because he felt the ring would be “special”.
Malayev, who is founder and master jeweller at Forever Diamonds NY, told Page Six that he “couldn’t feel more honoured to create this ring for such a special couple”.
The couple’s happy news comes after a turbulent fews months for Spears. In June, she spoke out against her court-ordered conservatorship for the first time.
Speaking to a Los Angeles court, the singer hit out at the “abusive” legal arrangement, which has allowed her father to control much of her life for more than a decade.
During that court appearance, Spears dropped the bombshell that she wanted to marry her boyfriend Sam Asghari, who she first met while filming a music video in 2016.
However, Spears said her conservatorship had stopped her from marrying Asghari and from starting a family with him.
Crucially, Spears also hit out at Samuel Ingham III, her court-appointed lawyer, suggesting that he had never told her she could petition to have the conservatorship terminated.
That court appearance led to Spears winning the right to hire her own lawyer for the first time. Her new representative, Mathew Rosengart, promised to move “aggressively” to have the singer’s father removed from the legal arrangement.
In August, the singer’s father Jamie Spears finally agreed to step down from the conservatorship – although he didn’t give a clear timeline as to when he would back away from the arrangement.
Last week, Jamie’s lawyers asked the court to consider terminating Britney’s conservatorship altogether – a surprising turnaround that could eventually lead the singer to greater freedom.
