Man brandishing knife arrested outside Ariana Grande’s home after threatening staff
A knife-wielding man has been apprehended outside Ariana Grande’s Los Angeles, California, residence after a scuffle with security guards.
Aaron Brown was found loitering outside Ariana Grande’s home in the Hollywood Hills at around 2am last Friday (10 September).
He refused to leave when asked by security guards, subsequently pulling out a knife and waving it at them as they sought to remove him. Police were called to the scene.
Law enforcement sources told the Los Angeles Times that Brown demanded to see the singer, who was not inside the property at the time.
He was booked and taken to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Holywood station and jailed.
Hit with a felony brandishing charge, Brown did not meet the $50,000 bail and remains at the Los Angeles County Jail’s inmate reception centre as of Wednesday.
Sources told TMZ that Grande has since filed a temporary restraining order preventing Brown from going near her, her family or her property.
A judge will say at an upcoming hearing if the order can be extended.
Ariana Grande fan once trespassed her home to leave her a ‘love note’
This is not Ariana Grande‘s first such scare.
In March 2020, a fan reportedly obsessed with the 28-year-old bypassed security at her mother’s home and managed to knock on her front door.
According to TMZ, Fidel Henriquez slipped through the front gate following a delivery driver. He went through her rubbish before knocking on the door.
He was apprehended by police officers and refused to be escorted, even spitting on them.
According to the Independent Henriquez has note which expressed his desire to kill the singer.
He was arrested for misdemeanour trespassing and felony battery. Grande and her mother, Joan, were granted a restraining order against the man, blocking him from “harassing, threatening, intimating or contacting in any fashion”, including via social media or on the telephone.
