Amazon launches surprise early Black Friday sale on its popular devices including the Echo Dot
Amazon has launched an early Black Friday sale on its popular devices – including the Echo Dot.
The online retail giant has discounted the Alexa smart speaker to its lowest price of the year, so far.
Shoppers can get Amazon’s third generation Echo Dot for £21.99, down from £39.99, while the fourth generation is on sale for £29.99, down from £49.99.
Amazon has dropped the prices of its devices more than a month before Black Friday, which takes place on 26 November.
They’re now available from amazon.co.uk/deals, with the page being regularly updated between now and Black Friday.

Other highlights include the different versions of the Fire TV Stick, with the Lite edition priced at £24.99, the original at £29.99 and the 4K edition at £34.99.

Meanwhile Amazon Prime Members can get the Echo Buds for £79.99 instead of £109.99, just log into your account and the discount will automatically apply.
If you’re not an Amazon Prime Member but want to access the deal, then you can sign up for free with a 30-day trial, and purchase the Echo Buds.
You can cancel your membership and not pay a penny, or continue it for £7.99 per month or £79.99 per year and take advantage of other Black Friday Prime bonuses.
When is Black Friday 2021?
This year’s Black Friday will take place on 26 November, with the likes of Amazon running week-long discounts on thousands of products.
If you’re an Amazon Prime member then you’ll be able to access Black Friday deals before anyone else.
The members get early access to ‘Lightning Deals’, which only run for a short allotted time – and once they’ve sold out they’re gone.
This includes Amazon’s own devices, gaming products, TVs, beauty products and garden and homeware.
