Britney Spears demands ‘justice’ as she tells family: ‘You’ve hurt me deeper than you’ll ever know’

Britney Spears has accused her family of “hurting me deeper than you’ll ever know” as she demands “justice” for what she suffered during her conservatorship.
The 39-year-old’s personal and financial affairs have been tightly controlled by others since she entered the complex and controversial legal arrangement in 2008.
For more than a decade, Britney has lived a life of sleeplessness, depression and “abuse“, she told the court earlier this year, squarely placing the blame on her father and conservator, Jamie Spears.
But in a long-sought ruling, Jamie was suspended from his role of overseeing his daughter’s money and career in September.
He had stepped down from his role as conservator of person in 2019 due to ill-health.
Weeks on, and Britney shared a lengthy Instagram post Monday (25 October) about being let down by those close to her – especially her family.
She has in the past suggested she would like to see her father jailed for conservatorship abuse and has criticised her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, for “hurting her”.

“This message is to my family… for hurting me deeper than you’ll ever know !! I know the conservatorship is about to be over but I still want justice!!!” Britney Spears wrote in the caption.
“I’m only 5’4″ and I’ve played the bigger person my entire life… do you know how hard that is???”
Britney added that she has long been an “understanding Mother Teresa” figure, but she vowed to be “no longer available” to those who use her.
“I don’t mind being alone… and actually I’m tired of being this understanding Mother Teresa. If you’re rude to me then I’m done… peace out ✌? !!,” the “Toxic” singer said.

It all comes ahead of a 12 November court hearing that will decide whether to terminate altogether the conservatorship which has, for 13 years, dominated the singer’s life.
The conservatorship, judge Brenda Penny said, was “untenable” as long as Jamie, 69, remained in charge. “It reflects a toxic environment which requires the suspension of James Spears,” she said at the Los Angeles probate court.
Matthew Rosengart, Britney’s chosen attorney, had sought Jamie’s swift suspension and asked for the next hearing to pave a path once thought unimaginable – for Britney to be freed for good.
“My client wants, my client needs, my client deserves an orderly transition,” he told the court at the time.
In the meantime, Britney has become increasingly vocal on her Instagram account, using it as a vital vehicle to reclaim her narrative.
Writing on Instagram earlier this month, she wrote: “Lord have mercy on my family’s souls if I ever do an interview.”
