Euphoria fans hilariously ‘snitch’ on Zendaya’s Rue to actor playing her mum

Euphoria fans are a passionate bunch and some have become so invested in Rue Bennett’s (Zendaya) spiralling behaviour that they are taking it upon themselves to snitch to her mother.
Warning – spoilers follow.
Nika King, the actor who plays a single mother to both Rue and her sister Gia, revealed the hilariously unhinged messages she has received from viewers after Rue successfully convinced a drug dealer to give her $5,000 worth of drugs to sell in her area.
Rue only chose to get into the drug business so she would be able to continue doing drugs for free, while her unknowing mother Leslie still believes her daughter is living a sober life.
It’s safe to say fans were freaking out over the latest development in the third episode of season two because we can all assume that things aren’t going to work out well with the show’s protagonist.
However, sending messages to King about Rue’s behaviour isn’t going to make much difference either.
The Euphoria actor took to Instagram on Wednesday to share her reaction to the passionate fan DMs as she wrote: “I am an actor. This is a tv show. Y’all stay outta my DMs snitching ? “.
She then posted screenshots of some of the concerned fans as one read: “Rue still doing drugs mama!! Get her ass.”

“Heyy momma bennet from euphoria. You know your daughter rue has been sober and s**t for a long time…well… that’s not true,” another wrote. “She’s still using drugs and like she’s also selling durgs. I just thought I’d let you know”.
Another fan stated: “COME GET YO DAUGHTER!!!! RUE BEEN ON THE POT. GET HER SOME HELP!! SHE BE SELLING DRUGS TO SOME WHITE LADY”.
Sadly, we can’t help but think viewers are going to see Rue go down an even darker path than we’ve previously seen after Zendaya issued a warning ahead of the season premiere.
“I know I’ve said this before, but I do want to reiterate to everyone that Euphoria is for mature audiences,” she began. “This season, maybe even more so than the last, is deeply emotional and deals with subject matter that can be triggering and difficult to watch.”
The actor then added: “Please only watch it if you feel comfortable. Take care of yourself and know that either way you are still loved and I can still feel your support. All my love, Daya.”
