The gay actor has been posting selfies while in full costume as Uncle Fester, with one captioned “posh egg”.
Fans who’ve already seen the show in the likes of Birmingham and Milton Keynes have been heaping praise on Paige, with one commenting that he’s the “perfect” Fester.
Others said that his “character made the show”, and that his performance was their “favourite” part about the musical.
The musical’s plot focuses on Wednesday Addams, who “is all grown up and has a shocking secret that only Gomez knows”.
“She’s fallen in love with a sweet young man from a respectable family. With his cherished Morticia in the dark, will Gomez manage to keep his daughter’s secret until the two families meet for a fateful dinner with hilarious consequences?”, the synopsis reads.
It features all the characters from the much-loved family including Gomez, Lurch and Pugsley and music and lyrics by Tony Award-nominated Andrew Lippa.
