Troye Sivan is starring in a queer, coming-of-age film and it’s premiering this month.
Sivan will play the lead in Three Months, a comedy-drama about a teenager who is exposed to HIV at the end of high school.
His character, Caleb, has to wait three months to test for the virus and during that time finds love.
It’s been confirmed that the film will be released on 23 February exclusively on streaming platform Paramount+.

Sivan announced details of the film on Instagram saying it was “a movie we made against all odds throughout a global pandemic”.
“I care about it a lot. Can’t wait for you to meet Caleb!”, he added.

Fans were pretty excited about the announcement, with one writing: “No way so proud of you Troye”.
Another said, “she’s a movie star”, and someone else commented, “happy for you and can’t wait to watch it !!!! Mazel Tov !”.
It’s directed by Jared Frieder and will also star Viveik Kalra, Brianne Tju, Ellen Burstyn, Judy Greer, Javier Munoz, Louis Gossett, Jr. and Amy Landecker.
Sivan previously appeared in Boy Erased, a true story about a conversion therapy program and he received a Golden Globe nomination for the song “Revelation”, which he wrote for the film.

He recently walked in Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty fashion show on Amazon Prime Video and starred in Beyoncé’s Ivy Park campaign for Valentine’s Day.
