Anderson Cooper is a daddy, again, after welcoming second son with ex-partner

Anderson Cooper has welcomed a second child with his ex partner, revealing he is the proud father of another son named Sebastian Luke Maisani-Cooper.
The CNN anchor, who welcomed his first son Wyatt in April 2020, shared the happy news during his Anderson Cooper 360 show on Thursday (10 Febraury).
“I wanted to start out with some good news, which also happens to be very personal news,” Cooper began as he looked back to the way he announced Wyatt’s birth.
He continued: “These are the pictures I showed of Wyatt then, taken just days after he was born. This is Wyatt today. He is nearly 22 months old. He is sweet, funny, and the greatest joy of my life.
“If he looks particularly happy in this picture, it’s because he now has a baby brother. His name is Sebastian, and I would like you to meet him.”

Anderson Cooper introduced his baby boy, named Sebastian Luke Maisani-Cooper, and confirmed he would once again be co-parenting with his “best friend and former partner” Benjamin Maisani.
He explained that the 49-year-old nightclub owner is currently in the process of adopting their firstborn Wyatt, whose last name will also be changing to Maisani-Cooper.

Like his brother, Sebastian was born via surrogacy and Cooper explained that he would be taking time off to focus on his family.
Of his new son, he added: “He mostly just sleeps and eats and certainly poops, but he already seems like a wise and thoughtful little chap.”
Cooper previously explained how much it means to him to be able to become a parent as he said: “As a gay kid, I never thought it would be possible to have a child, and I’m grateful for all those who have paved the way, and for the doctors and nurses and everyone involved in my son’s birth.”
