Spice Girls have teamed up with Lego to give fans what they really, really want.
No, not quite an official reunion, but Scary, Sporty, Baby, Ginger and Posh are back together.
This time it’s for a brand new buildable set from Lego, which reimagines the iconic girl group as BrickHeadz.
The Spice Girls Tribute set will be available from 1 March via the official Lego website.

The set is being released as part of the group’s 25th anniversary and features “authentic details” including Geri’s Union Jack dress and Mel B’s animal print catsuit.
It was revealed by Lego and Spice Girls on social media and it’s safe to say fans were excited about the announcement, with one writing: “When can I purchase? I want!”.

Other comments included, “omg! finally!” and “this is epic”, while another referenced one of their iconic hits, writing “if you wanna be my BrickHead”.
However some Lego fans weren’t too happy about the reveal, with one commenting: “Is there even a demand for this?”.
But one person clapped back expertly, saying: “These are fun! The amount of grown men crying about a set not catering specifically to their interests is staggering. Everything is not for you. Let someone else enjoy a little. Grow up.”.
The promo shot of the Spice Girls Lego set was captured by acclaimed photographer, Rankin.
He wrote on his Instagram page: “Back in 1996 I got the opportunity to capture the Spice Girls…fast forward to 2022 and I got the opportunity again”.
“But this time with the new BrickHeadz” edition of the iconic girl group he added.

Spice Girls reunion gigs reportedly scrapped
The Lego set is perhaps the only chance for fans to see the five-some together again, as plans for more Spice Girls reunion gigs have been scrapped.
Sources told The Sun that future plans for an animated film, a 2023 world tour and other gigs have been binned amid COVID-19.
“It was going to be brilliant,” the insider said. “But COVID killed the momentum.”
They add: “There’s nothing on the agenda and they’re focusing on their own things.
“Geri is talking about new TV things, Emma has TV and radio work and the two Mels [Mel B and Mel C] are focusing on their own stuff.
“Victoria certainly isn’t going to be the one to bring it back to life – so it has fizzled out.
“They’re done.”
