Elliot Page is opening up like never before with an upcoming memoir which will see him get candid about ā€œmental health, love, relationships and sexā€.

The Umbrella Academy star will release the project, titled Pageboy, in 2023 as first reported by Associated Press.

The 34-year-oldā€™s publisher Flatiron Books stated the memoir will ā€œdelve into Pageā€™s relationship with his body, his experiences as one of the most famous trans people in the world, and will cover mental health, assault, love, relationships, sex, and the cesspool that Hollywood can be.ā€

AP reported that Page will also open up about his acting career, during which he received an Oscar nomination in 2008 for Juno, and his experience in the transgender community.

The InceptionĀ star revealed his excitement about the upcoming release after sharing the news on his Instagram Story.

The plain-spoken activist has been radiating pure trans joy ever since he reintroduced themselves as a trans man in 2020, after recovering from gender-affirming top surgery.

Top surgery, he told TIME magazine, ā€œcompletely transformed my lifeā€, and was ā€œnot only life-changing but lifesavingā€.

Between taking selfies and showing off his incredible abs, Elliot Page has sought to speak out against the cruel and relentless wave of anti-trans bills that US state legislators have rammed into dockets in recent years.

Elsewhere, the star has signed on as an executive producer for a documentary about trans lives in Italy, which is set to premiere next month.

Page described the film as ā€œa meditation on trans humanityā€ and said heā€™d ā€œnever seen another film like itā€.

The documentary is titled Nel Mio Nome, which translates to Into My Name, and comes from the creative mind of Italian director and producer NicolĆ² Bassetti.

It stems from Bassettiā€™s personal experience with his own son, who is trans, and follows a close-knight group of four friends ā€“ Nic, Leo, Andrea and Raff ā€“ who come from different parts of Italy and are at varying stages in their lives.

The film will document the friendsā€™ journeys as they discover their gender identities.
